Returns and Warranty

You, the customer are important to us, we are committed to your satisfaction and will do all we can to provide the best service and product.

Returns:

  • You must contact us before you return an item to receive return instructions.
  • Merchandise will be accepted for return within 30 days of receipt by you.  All items must be unused and in new condition, and you will be expected to pay all shipping costs.
  • If the item you received was damaged or defective you will receive a full refund for that item.
  • If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you will receive a full refund on the merchandise, but not on any shipping costs.  The merchandise must be returned at your expense.

Warranties:

  • All items made by Desperate Tea Drinkers are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of 90 days from the date of shipment.  The warranty is void if the item has been damaged by negligence, accident or mishandling, or has been altered or repaired in any way.  In the first 30 days, the Return Policy applies.  After 30 days, this warranty is limited to replacement of the defective item with the same or similar item, at our discretion.  You, the owner, will be responsible for all shipping costs.
  • All other items are sold without warranty by Desperate Tea Drinkers.  Some items may include a manufacturer's limited warranty.  If so, warranty administration will be handled directly by the manufacturer.
  • No person or company is authorized to assume or imply any other warranty.  Desperate Tea Drinkers does not assume responsibility or liability for:
    • consequential damages of any kind which result from the use or misuse of any item,
    • damage or failure resulting from repair or modification of any item,
    • damage resulting from the misuse of any item.

Agreement

By purchasing from us, you agree to all the conditions on this page. You also agree that this agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. You also agree that our liability is limited to a refund of the amount we received from you for any goods or services. You also agree that any disputes of claims arising out of this agreement will be settled by a mutually acceptable arbitrator.
